He said: "We are running out of games and it is now or never. If we do not start getting it right soon survival will be impossible.
"We have not scored a goal in our last three games and that tells me when the final pass or the final cross comes in we are not making the right decisions.
"It was a 50-50 game against Wolves and whoever scored first was going to get the three points and again we have been beaten by the odd goal.
"The defeat is very difficult to take because the performance was good, but the margin between success and failure can be an inch and right now that inch is still against us.
"But the nice thing about football is that we get another chance for three points against Birmingham in a few days.
"I have never been in a relegation battle before so I am trying to cope with it in the best way I can and trying to keep the players believing we can get out of trouble.
"At this stage it is not about fitness or technical ability, it is about what is in a player's head."
