Carver said: "We're all behind Kevin and David Healy has already come out publicly in support of him.
"One minute Glenn Roeder is under pressure, then it's Stuart Pearce and now it's Kevin Blackwell.
"That's the nature of the beast and it's at times like this that you find out a bit about yourself.
"Kevin's got the support of the players and the staff and we're confident that we can turn the situation around.
"We knew the threat that Barnet posed after they went to Cardiff and won in the previous round.
"They surprised us by changing their team around but we came good and a few of the players have given Kevin a real dilemma for Saturday's game against Birmingham."
