Managing director David Richmond is delighted and says the club have been inundated with enquiries.
"The interest has been tremendous," said Richmond in the YEP. "Sales are coming along nicely. It is a big commitment for people to take, but we have arranged some finance packages for the fans interested.
"We believe it's a great value offer for supporters and we expect to sell out of the tickets before the end of the season."
The club has arranged finance packages for fans to pay over five or seven years. Sales have already smashed the £300k barrier and the offer is limited to just 2,500 tickets.
Season tickets for the 2004-05 campaign will go on sale later this month. United have announced a price freeze on the tickets for next season. "We want to give the fans value," said Richmond. "If the worst did happen there would be 23 home games instead of the 19 we have now, but we are not even contemplating relegation at this stage."
