The 20-year-old was brought in as cover for Jimmy Walker with reserve keeper Aaron Kerr expected to be out until next month with a broken wrist.
"I'm really enjoying it here," he told the Birmingham Evening Mail. "I jumped at the chance to come. I'd definitely consider staying longer although of course Aaron will be back at some stage so I doubt whether I'll be needed then.
"I'd love to get a chance in the first-team here but there's no way I'd wish any misfortune on Jimmy Walker.
"Even if he doesn't miss any games I'm getting regular reserve-team football, which I wasn't any more at Leeds, and some good coaching which will stand me in good stead for the future."
