Ipswich's Ticket and Call Centre Manager John Ford said: "It's the biggest selling game of the season here so far, we have sold close on 27,000 tickets and the phones have been busy all week. We will be closing in on a sell-out if the rate of interest continues."
This is becoming the pattern for the season so far with most away attendances being the biggest for the visit of Leeds United.
