Both players suffered knee ligament damage and were feared to be out for the whole of the season but the latest medical reports indicate they could make a comeback in late January or early February.
The news is a massive boost for The Whites who are short of both numbers and experience in the squad as a whole and in midfield most particular.
Kevin Blackwell told BBC Radio Leeds: "Seth has started running, so should step up his work in about six weeks. We're looking at early February or late January for both of them. It would be a massive boost to get them back."
