Batty limps out of reserves game

Batty was replaced after just 15 minutes with what is believed to be a recurrence of the knee injury which has kept him sidelined for a large part of the season.

Early reports, however, indicate that the injury is not serious and his withdrawal from the game was made as a precaution.

The Reserves went on to defeat Liverpool's second string 2-1 with goals from Simon Johnson and a Jamie McMaster penalty.
