Various reports have suggested that Leeds were on the verge of signing the transfer listed West Brom midfielder but Blackwell insists he has never had any interest in the player.
Blackwell said in the Yorkshire Evening Post: "There is absolutely no truth in the suggestions that we are signing the player. No one has spoken to anyone about him and I have got no interest in him whatsoever.
"He's not someone I've even watched. I don't know where these reports come from, and the only thing I can think of is that it has come from an agent whose player obviously wants to leave the club.
"How better to create an auction than by sticking Leeds United's name alongside him?"
West Brom were interested in United keeper Scott Carson and had two cash-plus-player deals turned down by Leeds.
United watched the Baggies in action to look at the players involved but the Post report that Sakiri was not among the names offered to Leeds as part of that proposed deal.
