The midfielder was a target for Kevin Blackwell last season and he is expected to try to again for the 30-year-old.
Little has a year to run on his current contract and unlike a number of his team-mates has not been offered a new deal following the Royals' promotion to the Premiership.
The former Burnley player said in the Reading Chronicle: "Leeds came in for me last season. We'd already been promoted and they tried to sign me on loan to help them secure automatic promotion.
"But I was injured at the time, although I doubt Reading would have allowed it to happen. You hear a lot of rumours in football but I don't take much notice.
"Unless the manager pulls me aside to tell me the club has accepted an offer I will just get on with it. As far as I'm concerned I'm just looking forward to next season."
