Gray said: "Paul, when he was called upon, did his job, even though he nearly never played because he has been ill for the last couple of nights and has not trained since Tuesday.
"But all the boys worked extremely hard. This game has gone now though and we have to start focusing on Tuesday's home clash with Everton."
