The defender has started four of Leeds' last five games in central defence alongside Andy O'Brien, and feels the continuity is beginning to reap dividends.
Bruce said: "There was always going to be a gelling process. There was a big number of players coming in and out, and now we're starting to develop partnerships. You can't get carried away because if you do you'll get a slap in the face in this league. But on Saturday we showed a good work gelling."
