United have a tough opening month, with Uwe Rosler’s side facing back-to-back away trips to Reading (August 15) and League One champions Bristol City (August 18) before hosting Sheffield Wednesday in their first Yorkshire derby of the season on August 22.
Leeds face successive derbies at Huddersfield Town (November 7) and at home to Rotherham 14 days later and entertain Steve Bruce’s Hull on December 5.
United face a reunion with former boss Grayson, who will make his first return to Elland Road since leaving as manager on December 19 with his Preston side, which sees Jermaine Beckford also return to Leeds.
Christmas fixtures see United visit Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day - not for the first time - before hosting Derby to finish their 2015 commitments on December 28.
Leeds start 2016 at home to MK Dons on January 2 and visit Sheffield Wednesday on January 16.
The second West Yorkshire derby of the season is at Elland Road at home to Huddersfield on March 19.
A busy April, which fits in seven games, starts with a trip to Rotherham on April 2 and they visit Hull on April 23.
