He also warned that there will be little or no money available to buy new players in the next transfer window.
On the programme, to be shown tomorrow, he said: "With the size of the squad and the size of the wage bill in the squad we would find it difficult to spend money unless we save by other sales.
"But what I can say is that there won't be any fire sales.
"Players will only leave Leeds if they want to or unless the manager thinks a player is not appropriate to his needs.
"If that happens then we will try and put all that money back into purchasing new players."
