Burgon will urge Caborn to throw his weight behind the calls for a John Charles Fair Play Award to be adopted by FIFA.
Former Sports Minister, Tony Banks, is already backing the campaign and met delegates from FIFA to discuss an award to mark the memory of Charles.
Burgon has also written to Football Association chief executive David Davies asking for his organisation's backing.
