Successive home defeats to Leicester and Cardiff have seen Leeds slump to 16th place in the table but Collins believes they can rediscover their confidence from back-to-back away fixtures at Scunthorpe and Coventry.
Collins said: "It's a good thing to play at home. I've always said one of the best things about playing for Leeds United is playing at Elland Road and having that crowd behind you.
"But this season our away form has been good and we are looking to keep that up at Scunthorpe on Saturday and then at Coventry.
"After playing at home there's no better feeling than running out away and seeing so many Leeds fans at an away game.
"Hopefully we can get a few points in the bag from our next two games and go back to Elland Road playing the way we can."
