Dacourt joins Roma

The 28-year-old has signed a loan deal with the Italian giants until the end of the season when they will have an option to make the deal permanent having already agreed a fee with Leeds.

"He's a player I have always liked and his style will allow him to quickly fit into the Italian league," said Roma coach Fabio Capello.

"I would like to have him in the side for our match on Sunday."
