Steve Evans is thought to have identified the former Man United 'keeper as a priority target ahead of the forthcoming transfer window.
The 31-year-old, who only left Old Trafford for The Hawthorns during the summer, has made just one appearance for the Baggies so far this season, playing in West Brom’s 3-0 League Cup defeat to Norwich City back in September.
With the Denmark international behind Boaz Myhill in the current pecking order; plus with regular number one Ben Foster still to return from injury, Lindegaard is likely to become third choice under Baggies boss Tony Pulis in the short-term future, meaning he could be tempted with a move back north to Leeds.
