The 19-year-old right-back, who progressed through the Academy at Elland Road, has been a regular in United's reserve side for the past two seasons.
He had a spell on loan at Rotherham at the end of last term, but injury prevented him from making a senior appearance for the Millers.
Darville also featured for York during their pre-season campaign.
