French born winger Mendy has featured in the pre-season friendlies against Rochdale, Sheffield Wednesday, Sandefjord and Newcastle United and made a favourable impression.
Hungarian international left-back Bodor has amade substitute appearances in the friendlies with the Owls and Magpies.
Other pre-season trialists Jloyd Samuel and Isaiah Osbourne remain on the injured list.
Andy O’Brien is also expected to feature in the private friendly today as steps his fitness following a side strain ahead of Saturday’s tough televised Championship opener against Southampton on Saturday.
