Domi's move from French club Paris St Germain is subject to a second medical at Elland Road on Tuesday, but the player has already agreed personal terms.
Manager Peter Reid believes the former Newcastle United player can add pace and power to the left flank.
His arrival will also increase the French connection at the club following the capture of Zoumana Camara from Lens.
Domi, 25, spent a little more than two seasons with Newcastle United, who paid PSG £3.25m for him in 1998 before he departed St James’ Park in 2001, vowing never to play there again. He signed for PSG for the same fee.
I hope that things will be more positive at Elland Road.
