DOL urges Lee to sign

Speaking in this morning's The Sun, O'Leary said, "I want Lee to stay here, and he knows it. This club has backed him unbelievably over the past couple of years. We have had to go through a lot to support him.

"It would be a massive kick in the teeth for the chairman, myself and the Leeds fans, who have supported him so wholeheartedly, if he ended up not signing this new contract.

"This is Lee's chance to pay back the people who have stood by him. I've been told Lee's people are not even talking about the contract business at the moment.

"But Lee has always said that he wants to play for me and I hope he backs that up by putting pen to paper."
