The left-back limped out of Tuesday’s FA Cup win over Birmingham City after twisting an ankle and Neil Warnock warned that Drury was likely to be “struggling for a while”, report the YEP.
The 34-year-old former Norwich defender lasted only nine minutes in freezing conditions before catching his studs in the turf and leaving the field.
He was replaced by Aidan White and is not expected to be fit for Saturday’s Championship game against Bristol City.
Warnock said: “Birmingham’s stadium has got undersoil heating but it was very firm ground. Their skipper (Steven Caldwell) said that when he was handing in the team sheets, there was no give in it at all.
“Adam’s studs got caught in the pitch and I think he’ll be struggling for a while.”
