The Premier League outfit will visit Leeds on Saturday 1 August, kicking off at 3pm.
The fixture will give Ross Barkley the opportunity to return to a club where he spent a period of time on loan in 2013.
The two teams last met in a competitive fixture in September 2012 when Leeds won 2-1 in a League Cup tie under Neil Warnock.
The last time Everton played at Elland Road in the Premier League was way back in April 2004 when the home side needed a James Milner equaliser to salvage a point after Wayne Rooney had given the Toffees a first-half lead.
It adds to an already impressive pre-season fixture list for the Whites, who also have matches against Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim on the schedule for this summer.
Notable players to have played for both Leeds and Everton include Bobby Collins, Duncan McKenzie, Ian Snodin, Nigel Martyn, Olivier Dacourt, Nick Barmby, Jermaine Beckford and Aaron Lennon.
Tickets news for the Everton friendly will be announced once details have been confirmed.
