Huddersfield Town will visit Elland Road on December 5 and Leeds travel to the Galpharm Stadium on February 27.
United's first encounter with one of the three clubs relegated from the Championship this season will come against Charlton Athletic at Elland Road on October 3.
United are at home to Hartlepool United on Boxing Day, while January 2 sees an away match at Tranmere Rovers.
Leeds' campaign will conclude with a meeting against Bristol Rovers at Elland Road on May 8.
