United’s Under-18s have set up a fifth round FA Youth Cup tie with Manchester City - a repeat of last season’s final - after defeating AFC Fylde 3-2 in a tense affair last Friday.
Oliver Pickles grabbed a brace before Louie Dudley netted the decisive goal.
Both sides ended the match with 10 players. Leeds winger Harvey Vincent was shown a second yellow just after half-time before Fylde's Eli Da Silva was also given his marching orders towards the end of the contest.
United will plays hosts to Man City in the next round, which takes place across the weekend on Saturday, February 8 - the same weekend that the senior team hosts Millwall in the fourth round of the FA Cup itself.
