The Hartlepool Mail report that current caretaker boss and director of sport, Chris Turner, has made an enquiry about the availability of Parker.
It is understood that Leeds would let the 21-year-old leave the club either on loan or for a small transfer fee.
Parker, who spent three months on loan at Darlington last season, has fallen down the pecking order at left-back and did not feature in the squad for Leeds' visit to Brighton last weekend.
Parker's chances of first-team action look even more limited now after the arrival of on loan Stoke full-back Carl Dickinson.
