The centre-half returned to United after a three-month loan spell at Stoke City due to suspensions at Leeds but is not in Kevin Blackwell’s future plans.
The former Chelsea defender was set for a move to Molineux in the summer under previous Wolves boss Dave Jones but Blackwell decided to give him a chance to prove himself.
Despite a promising start he was sent off, ironically at Wolves, in his third game and then the form of Paul Butler, Clarke Carlisle and Matthew Kilgallon persuaded Leeds to allow Duberry to leave and Stoke are set to battle it out with Wolves for his services.
