Jenas to sign for Mags

Nottingham Forest chief executive Mark Arthur confirmed, "We have accepted what we feel to be a very good offer from Newcastle United for Jermaine Jenas."

The England Under-19 international will complete his transfer to the North-East in the next 24 hours. He is expected to make the squad for Newcastle's clash with Southampton at the weekend.

Leeds, Arsenal, and Liverpool were all said to be monitoring his progress, though it appears Bobby Robson has beaten them all to his signature.
