Joachim Hat-Trick No Joke For Merson

Joachim, on loan at Walsall until the end of the season, and Merson are keen to make the move permanent in time for the start of next season.

But Merson fears Joachim's hat-trick in the 3-0 victory over Hull at the weekend could change negotiations.

He joked: "He's done us no favours scoring a hat-trick. It probably puts a few more zeroes on the fee."
