Peter Taylor's plans for the qualifier in Lucerne have been affected by the withdrawal of three key defenders.
West Brom skipper Curtis Davies is out with a broken metatarsal, while Manchester City's Nedum Onuoha and Andrew Taylor of Middlesbrough have also pulled out through injury.
Kilgallon told Leeds' official website: "I've been quite pleased with my form this season and my aim is to keep on playing well and if I do that and get more call-ups with the Under-21's, then that will be great. I'm really looking forward to the trip and hopefully I'll be involved in the game."
