The six-man board are set to call a meeting for supporters later this week and say that this is a sign of things for the future.
The meeting will be held at Elland Road and chairman Gerald Krasner insists that the fans will be kept fully informed of matters at United.
Krasner said in the YEP: "It's only right that we should let the supporters know what we are trying to do and answer their questions. It will be an open forum and I can promise the fans that we will try and answer all of their questions. This won't be a one-off."
Admission will be on a first-come first-served basis and the invitation will be open to all United fans. Attention will turn back to football tonight though and Krasner added: "We can look forward to the game now. I don't think the supporters will need lifting."
