The striker has furthered his comeback from a broken ankle by completing ball-work sessions this week and he is expected to begin competing for a first team place during November.
United have a busy six games scheduled for next month, including an FA Cup 1st-round tie and a Johnstone's Paint Trophy quarter-final at home to Bury.
Constantine's return would be a lift for Leeds after they were forced to send Tore Andre Flo for an operation on his foot.
Wise has not been able to name Constantine, signed on a two-year deal in August, since he injured his ankle during a pre-season friendly against Czech side Slovan Liberec in July.
Wise said: "Leon's now doing ball-work and he isn't that far away. It's going to be good when he comes back. He's a very good footballer and a very good goalscorer in this division and I'm going to have more choice then."
