Lowe said: "There isn't any situation as far as we are concerned. We have not had an approach which we should have if they want our under contract manager. When they break cover we will deal with it.
"We have a sound financial base whereas they have a caretaker manager, are bottom of the table and have big debts so it is more likely to have come from them. They need to do something radical.
"I guess the process of softening a manager up for a move is to suggest that all is not well in our camp but I can assure you that is not the case.
"There is nothing to it. Gordon and I have a great relationship. There is no reason for us to fall out. He's a great companion and a great coach."
