Michalik was a big success on loan at Elland Road at the back end of last season and former Leeds boss Dennis Wise ensured the Slovakian international came back on deadline day for a fee of around £500k.
The deal came out of the blue however, as Bolton had lost Abdoulaye Meite due to the Africa Nations Cup and Michalik had played in the Wanderers starting eleven a couple of days before his move.
Fojut had a spell out on loan with Luton Town earlier this season which made him into a better prospect.
"I don't want to, but I could loan Fojut out or sell him to 15 clubs on a permanent basis," admitted Megson over the weekend. "That is the reason why I let Lubo go. We have four very good centre halves."
