And the club have confirmed that he has impressed boss Terry Venables enough for him to be considering a permanent deal with Lucic.
"It has worked fine in Leeds and I have broken into the side well. I am enjoying myself,' Lucic told the club's official website.
"The pace is tremendously high in the matches, and after 75 minutes my legs sometimes feel really heavy.
"It's clearly a higher pace in an average league match than in a derby back in Sweden."
