McMaster Plan For King

King pulled out of the the race for Gillingham's Darius Henderson last week and his attacking options got worse when Sam Parkin was sent off in the 1-0 win over Bradford on Saturday.

Parkin faces an immediate three-match ban and that leaves Rory Fallon as the only available striker with any first-team experience.

King agreed a loan deal with The Whites on Friday with the young Australian expected to link up with Town’s squad at training today.

The 21-year-old played against Town in the Carling Cup last week and had a spell at Chesterfield last season when he scored twice in six matches.

Speaking after Saturday’s victory, King said: "We’ve agreed with Leeds to bring the boy Jamie McMaster in. He was coming Friday but it was too late to play him today.

"Maybe I might have to bring another one in because we are, for three games, down to the bare minimum and I like to have alternatives and options. At the moment I’ve got no options."
