The Sturm Graz boss confirms he has had no official offer from Leeds, but says it's flattering to be linked with such clubs
Milanic is believed to be the preferred choice of Massimo Cellino to succeed Dave Hockaday at Elland Road.
Despite Sturm's efforts to play down Leeds' interest Milanic says he is flattered that he is on Cellino's radar.
However Milanic, 46, who made his name with Maribor in his native Slovenia, insists Leeds have yet to make an official approach for him.
"It's nice that you're spoken of in connection with a club of such tradition," Milanic told the Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung.
"This is positive, pleasant stress for me. This gives me confidence.
"But I can say that there has never been a concrete enquiry for me."
