Moore made 65 appearances for the Whites before signing for Pools in the summer.
He has scored eight goals this season and that includes his 100th career goal, which he notched last weekend when they lost 1-2 at Swindon.
Moore said: "It's a good game for all, a full house and one to look forward to. There's still a few there who I played with so it makes things interesting.'
"I expected them to do well and be up there, but not perhaps as well as they have done. Once their support gets behind them and when they play the poorer teams at home, the visitors are going to get mauled.
"Look at our game there this season. It's another one which we shouldn't have lost. We played them off the park for long periods and came off with a defeat.
"I bet the gaffer is pulling his hair out from the amount of games we have thrown away from a good position.''
