Never Been A Bigger Hero - Gray

On the reception Alan Smith received from the fans in his final home game yesterday before moving on, Gray said: "There has never been a bigger hero here, but I wouldn't want to compare him with previous players. There have been some great players here.

"Smithy was magnificent. He gave everything, as always. It was a sad day for him because he has been at this club since he was a kid, but our club has to look forward now. The club is bigger than any individual."
