The 69-year-old will allow the public to bid on his two league title honours he clinched with Leeds, his FA Cup, Fair Cup winners' medals as well as a selection of his 28 England caps.
"I'm 70 next birthday and I can't see the point in having them sitting in the loft," The Sun quotes Hunter as saying.
"This isn't being done for financial reasons. I want them to be bought by people who can get some pleasure out of them. I'll still have the memories."
Items will be sold by way of online auction sale, scheduled for March 2013, and will include his medals and trophies from 2nd and 1st Division Championships, Inter City Fairs, FA Charity Shield, FA Cup, European Cup, the sale will also include various shirts, caps, programmes, etc.
