The Honduras international has just been voted most valuable player at the Copa CentroAmerica, won by his home country for the first time in 16 years, but the 25-year-old has made only two substitute appearances for Leeds since arriving in the summer from Deportivo Olim.
Nunez said: "I'll keep working, I want to get in the team. I've been patient. Obviously the team has done well and I have to wait and be patient. A chance and an opportunity will come. I know what the manager [Simon Grayson] wants and expects of me in training and I try and carry it out the best I can. I have to be ready for when it comes."
