According to TEAMTalk Leeds United have shown an interest in Middlesbrough defender Daniel Ayala.
The 29-year-old is out-of-contract in the summer with Boro alleged to be unable afford a new deal for the player, who has been on Teesside since 2013.
With that in the mind, the article claims Boro are willing to sell him in January before his contract expires with Leeds, Fulham and Stoke City reportedly watching with interest.
It adds that Fulham look most likely suitors, though Leeds’ director of football, Victor Orta, knows Ayala from his days with Boro.
