Reid leads midfielder chase

The Czech midfielder is available on a free transfer in the summer after Liverpool decided not to renew his contract and the players agent has confirmed that talks with one Premiership club, believed to be Leeds, are to continue next week.

Bergers agent Pavel Paska told the Czech daily Sport: "We're waiting for final negotiations with bosses of a Premiership club. But we've agreed we won't say which one just yet."

Berger has however, been linked with several other Premiership clubs, including Birmingham City and newly promoted Portsmouth.
