Rio - We were rubbish

"Knowing you've got the quality is not the same as producing it on the pitch. We've only ourselves to blame. There is no better buzz than playing in the Champions League but if we continue to get results like we are getting now we will slip away. We were rubbish in terms of not sorting ourselves out for the last set-piece," said Ferdinand after the 2-2 draw with Middlesbrough

"There were so many aspects of the game we could have improved on but didn't. We believe all our games are winnable with the quality and capability of the players we have in the side.

"We should be able to beat any team but we have not done that of late."

He also revealed that the team held 'crisis talks' before the game, to discuss the club's recent string of poor performances.
