Krasner said the deal could go through after the transfer window opens again on Sunday. "Nothing is signed. Tottenham have put forward a figure but we cannot complete any deal at this stage, we hope to do that early next week," he said.
Robinson, an England international, is one of Leeds' most saleable assets, and his departure is certain to be followed by those of Alan Smith and Mark Viduka as Leeds get ready for Division One.
However, the chairman of the Leeds United Supporters' Trust hit out at the club for agreeing a "pathetic" deal with Tottenham.
Jon Boocock was responding to reports that Leeds will only receive £1.5m for the 24-year-old.
Managing director David Richmond had insisted "no player will be leaving this club for less than their market value."
"This is the start of a fire sale," said Boocock. "If this is David Richmond getting the best possible price for one of our players, then he should go back to the print business because he knows nothing about football. What price can we now expect for Mark Viduka, Alan Smith and James Milner?"
