His loan deal at Elland Road was cancelled after he made only 7 appearances and the 27-year-old Milan defender could now make his debut in Wednesday's re-arranged Serie A fixture with Milan.

He spent three years at the San Siro and won a Champions League winner's medal with the Rossoneri last season.
