Reid's preparations for the new Barclaycard Premiership campaign could not have gone worse, they failed to win a single pre-season game.
Reid has lost Michael Duberry to injury and looks likely to use Mark Viduka before the big kick-off, but has warned the Leeds squad they will be shipped out unless they shape up.
The 2-0 defeat by Shelbourne was the final straw for a furious Reid, who said: "Everybody has got to go out there and start playing for the shirt. People will be picked on displays and attitude.
"You have got to go back to basics and the bottom line is you have got to earn the right to play. That is what I will be trying to drum into the players," Reid told Sky Sports.
"Consistently we have not been up to it. If you don't get your attitude right in whatever football match you go into, you are going to be off the pace.
"It is my job to change the attitude and we will work on it collectively. Nobody is going to get away with it. They have got to roll their sleeves up or they are out of the side."
The question is, with such a lightweight squad, who would replace them?
