The 21-year-old defender/midfielder has broken into the Whites side this season and his performances have earned him a new deal which will see him remain at the club until at least 2021.
The club confirmed that the player signed a new contract on their website; “United are delighted to announce that Conor Shaughnessy has committed his long-term future to the club after penning a new four year contract.”
Shaughnessy is not the only Leeds player to have been rewarded with a new deal this year with Ronaldo Vieira, Gaetano Berardi, Liam Cooper, Eunan O’ Kane, Stuart Dallas and Kalvin Phillips also signing new contracts.
