Naylor helped steer Leeds back to the npower Championship in his first full season at his hometown club, but despite climbing to sixth after successive wins over Millwall and Watford, the 33-year-old played down the club's chances of back-to-back promotions.
When asked what this season's priorities were, Naylor said: "It's got to be to build really. Obviously you'd like to go straight back to the Premier League, but having been out of this league for three seasons the most important thing is to consolidate and to build and get better each year.
"If you can do that you'll be on the right path. Top half or even top-six is a possibility, and that's got to be our aim."
