"We had a look at Sebastian and decided he fits the bill so we're making a move for him," Reid said. "We've spoken to Leeds United and are hopeful it'll go through."
Hamilton start their first season in Scotland's top-flight in 19 years on Monday, August 18 at home to Dundee United.
